Survivor Man Sues Politician
Survivor guitarist Frankie Sullivan is taking legal action against a leading American politician.
Sullivan is suing Republican presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich, because the latter has been usingEye Of The Tiger at his rallies. Sullivan, who co-wrote the 1982 classic (which was the theme for theRocky IIImovie), is seeking an injunction preventing Gingrich from playing it at future rallies.
Apparently, this has been used by the politician at public appearances since 2009.
