Saxon have a new live release ready to go.
Called Heavy Metal Thunder – Live: Eagles Over Wacken, it is a CD/DVD package, which will be put out on April 23. The DVD features 30 tracks filmed at three different Saxon performances at the Wacken Open Air Festival, namely those in 2004, 2007 and 2009. The CD has the band’s show in Glasgow last year.
There will also be a special edition called the Golden Ticket D2C/Direct To Consumer Box. This not only has the aforementioned best of Wacken DVD, but all three performances in full, each on a separate DVD. And 10 golden tickets have been randomly put into these sets, which allow the lucky winners to go to any Saxon gig around the world, apart from festivals.
