Rock stars, eh? Never content with making music and rocking us hard, the past few years have seen a flurry of stars turning their hands to additional business ideas. Clothing lines (Sorum, Sixx and Weiland), radio broadcasting (Elliott, Cooper and Sixx), writing (McKagen, Adler, Neil and Sixx), photography (Six….you get the point) and the others now have Bret Michaels joining the fray.
So what, I hear you ask, is Bret’s money making business? Well the Poison and Rock of Love star (plus a former winner of Celebrity Apprentice in the US) has developed a line of……pet accessories! Available exclusively from PetSmart Inc. in the USA from Summer 2012 the “Pets Rock” line will, claim Michaels and PetSmart, bring out your dog’s inner rock star.
Michaels is quoted as saying “As a dedicated pet owner myself, this is a natural partnership for me, and I can’t wait to unveil the collection. I know my own pets rock, and I wanted to design a line of pet products every bit as fun and cool as they are.”
It has not yet been revealed what the line will specifically look like, but it is said that it will include dog beds, pet clothing, bowls and feeders, collars, and leashes, among other items.
