Ex-Dictators Drummer Dies

Former Dictators and Twisted Sister drummer Rich Teeter has died at the age of 61, from unknown causes.

Teeter joined The Dictators in 1976 and appeared on the albums Manifest Destiny (released in 1977) and Bloodbrothers (78). He left the band in 1979 and a year later joined Twisted Sister, replacing Tony Petri. But he left in 1981.

Here’s Teeter in action in 1977 with The Dictators, covering Iggy & The Stooges’ Search And Destroy.
