We recently reviewed the new CD by Micki Free (https://www.rock-zone.co.uk/2012/04/04/micki-free-electric-blues-tattoo-burn/) where his awesome take on the blues visiting all the influences of his amazing career (discovered by Gene Simmons, part of Shalamar, Grammy award winner, etc, etc, etc) was one of our favourite releases of the year so far.
On his recent, very brief, trip to the UK Micki Free kindly gave Rock-Zone UK some time to talk to us aboout his career, the people he has worked and his new record “Tattoo Burn”. You get to hear some great tales and his rather special impersonation of Billy Gibbons.
