Stone Sour Tease Fan Club ‘Live At Brighton’ DVD With Digital Download

Stone Sour are releasing a live DVD, filmed during their 2010 tour, that will only be available to members of their ‘Dead Generation’ fan club. Fan Club member or not, you can still check out this clip of the band performing ‘Digital (Did You Tell)’ from the ‘Live at Brighton’ DVD.

Corey Taylor and Stone Sour put their intentions for a live DVD out there a while ago and it seems now that the project has finally come to fruition. The ‘Live at Brighton’ DVD was filmed on Nov. 7, 2010, at the Brighton Centre in Brighton, England and will be included as part of the welcome package for those that enlist in the band’s ‘Dead Generation’ fan club. Also included with a one-year membership will be a poem from Corey Taylor, autographed memorabilia, as well as the standard early access to music/concert tickets.

Granted the DVD has some years behind it already, but those hungry for new Stone Sour won’t have to wait much longer. Taylor recently announced news of the band’s upcoming double album, ‘The House of Gold and Bones.’ The double-disc concept album will be released separately, with Part 1 arriving Oct. 12 via Roadrunner Records, while Part 2 has a tentative 2013 release date. Taylor also revealed that the album would also have some interactive elements, such as an accompanying comic and lyrics will only be available on the website.

For now, Taylor and guitarist Jim Root are preparing to don their masks for the upcoming tour run with Slipknot on the Rockstar Mayhem Festival, as well as the two-off Knotfest dates set for mid-August.
