Pretty Boy Floyd Veteran Returns With The Prophets of Addiction and “Babylon Boulevard”

Pretty Boy Floyd veteran Lesli Sanders returns with a genuine sleaze-rock offering in its rawest rock ‘n’ roll form with BABYLON BOULEVARD, mixed by Phil Soussan (Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol).

Opening rocker ‘Hang Me Up’ is succeeded by some outstanding, retro flavored guitar work, attitude, and brutal honesty. ‘Self Portrait’ and ‘Babylon Boulevard’ are instantaneously catchy tunes– and set the heat rising, sleazy, Sunset Strip style. But scratch below the surface – Sanders writes about what he knows, and drug addiction isn’t pretty.

‘Mistress Addiction’ slows things down with a touch of homage to the Dogs D’Amour and the album closes with a classic and slick ballad, ‘Where R U Now’.

Lesli Sanders is making the music that’s close to his heart with passion and intensity. The Prophets of Addiction epitomize all that’s great about old skool glam rock -with an honest punk attitude- a raw vitality, energy and cocksure confidence.

Yes it’s some years on from the glam rock explosion, but Sanders is undeniably still rocking and this band is evolving rather than revisiting old musical territory, he says “This is a BAND, bringing together four individuals each with unique talents, backgrounds and tastes, and most importantly one common goal – to leave a lasting impression, and to fucking rock…”

BABYLON BOULEVARD is about life, death and everything in between. If you want to hear a band keeping it real there are 10 tracks of it right here… 100% from the heart.
