We Are The Physics announce Desaparecidos support dates

We Are The Physics have been confirmed to support Desaparecidos at two of the reunited Nebraskans first ever UK tour dates next month.

They will join in the fun with Conor Oberst and pals in Glasgow (The Arches, 9th February) andManchester (Academy 3, 10th February)

We Are The Physics released their second album, Your Friend, The Atom back in October of last year. The record spawned singles Goran Ivanisevic, Applied Robotics and Napoleon Loves Josephine, and most recently, a 7-inch pressing of album track Dildonics was released alongside the never-before-heard B-side, Welcome Back, Paul Dirac.

Praise for Your Friend, The Atom:

“A splendid second album to make you gasp, giggle, and buzz like a broken television” – BBC

“packed with jittery, twitching blasts of pop sensibility, couched in thrashing post-punk, surf-rock twang, dance-floor fodder and alien grunge… the greatest band since, well, this morning” – Alternative Press

“almost as great as their titles, and a whole lot catchier” – Kerrang!

“like Devo lost their mind” – The Skinny

This year will see the noisy Glaswegians hit the big screen with a role in God Help The Girl, the feature film written and directed by Belle & Sebastian’s Stuart Murdoch, return to Russia, and make a lot of noise, very fast, somewhere near you.
