Estranged Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora has released a new track via YouTube – hear Come Back As Me below.
He’s not part of the band’s current tour following an apparent falling-out with mainman Jon Bon Jovi, and although neither party has explained the situation in full, they’ve both hinted that there are problems with their relationship.
Announcing the launch of the song, Sambora commented: “Since everybody was digging’ stuff, I figured I’d lay something new on ya. And the lyric is pretty timely…”
The words include: “What do you want me to say / I gave you everything I could give” and the resolution: “If I die tomorrow I would come back as me.”
Sambora recently speculated that the “family drama” could be resolved in the near future, saying: “Let’s see what happened at the end of summer. September’s looking good. So, maybe September.”
