Belfast’s brightest, AJENDA release their fabulous debut album ‘Unrecognizable’

Hailing from Belfast and one of Northern Ireland’s brightest new stars, AJENDA are a female fronted pop rock band and with the release of this stunning debut album are set to take the world by storm! Ajenda have built their sound from a rollercoaster of passions, a wonderful blend of rock n roll liberally flecked with blues, delicate melodic touches and at times a darker undercurrent adding a twist to some utterly fantastic rock songs. The band’s secret weapon who lifts the tunes into the extraordinary with sublime ease is without doubt their diminutive (in stature only) powerhouse vocalist, Jen. Wow, this girl can SING!

AJENDA are:

Jen, vocals – for such a diminutive figure, Ajenda’s very own “pocket rocket” has a real powerhouse voice that captures and captivates entire audiences. Jens passion for singing and her  onstage energy has to be seen and heard to be believed.

Gavin, guitars – Gavin is the inspiration and the creator of Ajenda’s music and his understated playing is the perfect foil for the band’s sound.

Jan, bass – Jan delivers the bottom end to the band. Joining Ajenda in the summer of 2011, he seamlessly incorporates intricate, melodic bass lines that set the groove for each song.

Pete, drums – Pete puts the “rude” into rudiments! His understanding of dynamics and feel for music means this slightly zany Slovak is perfect for rockin’ the Ajenda engine room
In October 2012, the band took part in Hard Rock Hell’s band competition where they came runners up, with over 1000 applicants at the outset. They have supported the likes of FM, Pat McManus, Mike Tramp, Ricky Warwick, The Quireboys and also played the HRH festival.

Ajenda will return to mainland UK later in 2013 to promote their new album ‘Unrecognizable’. There is also a mini tour of Slovakia lined up in October.
They recorded a video for the track ” Drinking Games” off the Suomi Sessions EP which was described as “horrendously catchy”!
