It appears that Nickelback arent very popular in some parts of Detroit.
The Detroit Lions NFL team have asked the Canadians to play at half-time when they host a Thanksgiving game on Thursday, November 24. But one Lions is so angry with the choice, hes started an onlinepetition to have them removed. So far, hes got nearly 45,000 signatures.
So, whats the objection?
This game is nationally televised, do we really want the rest of the US to associate Detroit with Nickelback? Detroit is home to so many great musicians and they chose Nickelback?!?!?! Does anyone even like Nickelback? Is this some sort of ploy to get people to leave their seats during halftime to spend money on alcoholic beverages and concessions?.
