Ronnie Wood has let slip that the Rolling Stones might well be appearing at the opening ceremony for the Olympic Games.
Just a week ago, a spokesperson for the band denied reports that the band would be playing. But now Wood has told The Sun: “We’ve got more meetings, everyone wants to do it. I’ve been asked to do the opening ceremony with the Stones and close the games with The Faces. I’ve got to be the first bi-athlete musician.
