Vega Release Amazing New Single “White Knuckle Ride”

UK rock band VEGA release their new single “White Knuckle Ride”, the first to be aired from their hugely anticipated 2nd album “What the Hell?”, on October 24th. The single and forthcoming album will be released on UNIVERSAL/Ninetone/Spinefarm.

The video was shot at Elvington Airfield, most famously known as being the site of Richard Hammond’s ill fated attempt to stop a jet car by using his head as a brake! As you can see, the guys strutted and posed like good uns throughout the day long shoot with the music turned up to 12 (apparently 12 is the new 11).

In 2011 VEGA decided to go in search of a record company that shared their passion for trying to inject something new in to the rock genre, whilst still maintaining the 80’s/90’s roots that influenced them in the first place.

After a long search VEGA finally secured a worldwide deal with UNIVERSAL RECORDS/Ninetone/Spinefarm who will release their 2nd album in January 2013. The album will be released in the USA by Spektra Records. Singer Nick Workman says “We wanted to write an album where every song could have been a single, so we have been spending a lot of time fine tuning the songs. We pretty much demoed each song twice before we were satisfied”. The new album will feature 13 tracks of hook laden “stadium rock songs” that deserve to be play loud enough to piss off your neighbours…………

To support the release of the single the guys are hitting the road in the UK. You can catch them at:

Nov 2nd York (Fibbers)

Nov 3rd Nottingham (Rock City)

Nov 4th London (Borderline)

Dec 15th London (Underworld, supporting The Treatment)
