Philadelphia punk poets The Menzingers will be returning to the UK and Ireland in August for a handful of headline dates, as well as appearances at Rebellion and Hevy Festivals.

The Menzingers turned some heads in 2012 with their inspired third album ‘On The Impossible Past’, which was released just over a year ago through Epitaph. The record earned them plaudits across the board and made it into many an end of year list. In fact, it was awarded the very top spot in Rock Sound’s Albums of The Year. Further Best of lists in which the band appeared included Kerrang!, Big Cheese & This Is Fake DIY, as well as a multitude of loyal blogs. This year, the album was awarded a BBC 6 Music Blog Award, voted for by the readers of Punktastic who deemed ‘On The Impossible Past’ the ‘Album you’d watch a ten year anniversary tour of in 2022′.
