Samarkind Number 10 on Planet Rock Top 20 Albums of 2017 + debut UK shows this March self release 3 January 2018

Samarkind voted number 10 on Planet Rock Top 20 albums of 2017 + debut UK shows confirmed for March 2018

One of last year’s “ones to watch” rock bands; Samarkind have charted on Planet Rock’s Top 10 albums of 2017, which sees the multinational self release artists feature alongside the likes of Europe, Inglorious, Black Star Riders, Gun, Thunder, and Wayward Sons. The prestigious chart position, as voted for by the station’s listeners, follows Samarkind’s recent first live show in Dublin as guests to Inglorious, and the release of their self-titled debut album this past November.

Not to be missed: Samarkind make their debut in the UK this March with a series of live shows.

Vocalist David Paul Byrne says, “Myself, Michal, Mark and Marius are overwhelmed by the love and support we have received for our album and are chuffed to bits to be sitting at no.10 on the Planet Rock album of the year chart! We are so excited to be hitting the road this year and are looking forward to doing what we do best live and meeting everyone in person.”

Samarkind’s self-titled debut album was released on the 24th November 2017 to widespread praise from the media and music fans alike.
