Arena keyboard player Clive Nolan is to have his musicaladaptation of a classic 19th century novel staged next month.
The story isShe, published as a novel in 1887 and written by H. Rider Haggard. It was turned into a movie in 1965, starring Ursula Andress in the title role.
This new musical adaptation will be performed at The Playhouse in Cheltenham from February 22-25.
Says Nolan:She became part of my life at a very early stage when I saw the Hammer filmversion as a child. After that I read the book and was entranced by the story. Even from that age, I always knew I would do something with it.
