Courtney Love has apologised to Frances Bean Cobain after she accused her estranged daughter of a sexual liaison with Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl.
Last week Love tweeted: “I hear from Frannies [Frances’] roommate that Dave Grohl hit on Frances, and that she was curious, I’m not mad at her, him I am about to shoot, dead.”
Both Grohl and Cobain vehemently denied the rumour, with the latter calling Love’s tirade “gross”.
Now Love has taken to Twitter once again to say sorry to Frances.
She tweeted: “Bean, sorry I believed the gossip… Mommy loves you.”
Love has since made her Twitter account – @cbabymichelle – locked and private.
On Saturday (April 14) Love’s band Hole reunited after 15 years at the after-party for the release of rockumentary Hit So Hard.
