Brian May and Roger Taylor are returning to American Idol next week.
The duo will be on a Queen-themed night, when all six finalists will not only perform separately, but get the chance to play with the legendary guitarist and drummer on a Queen medley. May and Taylor last appeared on the programme in May 2011.
The following night on the same programme, the official Queen tribute band The Queen Extravaganza will perform Somebody To Love.
Queen with Adam Lambert (a former American Idol contestant) will play London’s Hammersmith Apollo on July 11/12. These two dates are now sold out. But a third one may be added.
