After nearly a year, the Who‘s ‘Quadrophenia and More’ tour is entering its final leg, with a run of European dates set to conclude on July 8 in London.
The final show of any tour is a significant one, but the July 8 gig will take on added importance, since the band is making it a fundraiser for their Double O charity organization. Established in 1976 — and operated by Pete Townshend since 1983 — Double O aids a variety of causes, from music education, emergency disaster relief and prison reform for juvenile offenders to drug and alcohol addiction treatment and relief for victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse.
The last leg of the tour kicks off on June 8 with a show in Dublin, sending the band throughout the U.K. before heading to Paris and Amsterdam in early July and finally winding up back in London. Have a look at the complete list of dates below, and be on the lookout for the new stage version of ‘Tommy’ that, as ABC News reports, is set to debut in Canada on May 14.
