Saxon detail live ‘hidden treasure’

saxonLiveSaxon will release a double live album titled St George’s Day – Live In Manchester on March 17, and they’ve described the recording as a “hidden treasure”.

The NOWBHM icons have a tradition of playing a show every April 23, celebrated in England as St George’s Day. The gig in question took place during their Sacrifice world tour last year.

Produced by frontman Biff Byford, and mixed and mastered by Andy Sneap, St George’s Day – Live In Manchester will be available on CD and as a digital download.

Saxon will play three intimate UK club shows later this month, after their planned tour with Motorhead was cancelled as a result of Lemmy’s ongoing health issues.
